You come home from work to find an email survey in your inbox.
Hello! this is one of my first ever text based games, it's still in development so this is just a proof of concept or a demo, there are a good amount of choices you can make and I tried my best to have a couple good scares. I hope you like it, let me know what I can change or improve.

damn i figured out the riddle but im wayy to dumb to decipher the tv thing. ik this is a stupid thing to ask but i desperately need a clue, maybe something to atleast help make deciphering easier bc i feel like its so obvious and im being dumb loll
I think the vinegar thing is spelled incorrectly bc its the name of a cipher code.
vigenere cipher. But I'm not really sure if that's it. I figured I would share what I found if it'd be helpful

I tried 5841 but the code didn't work so I'm not entirely sure. I hope it helped at least a little :O)
it's definitely a vigenere cipher, but thats what makes it hard, because those cipher's need code words, so, got any guesses?
do not suggest these (i tried them):
- river
- vinegar
- vigenere
- chips
- room
- tv
- bed
- salt
its river, at least thats the code word i used.
cant seem to figure out cipher with answer to riddle- i use up my tricks i know i have to come back try to again after research on deciphering T-T
